If I could give El Patio 0 stars, I would. Last week I visited this restaurant for dinner with three others. We were not too hungry so we figured we would order two entrees and split them. Upon doing so, the waiter seemed very annoyed that we only ordered two things. Regardless, he brought out our order and placed the $7 quesadilla which was simply a 5 inch tortilla filled with cheese folded in half and shredded lettuce described as "guacamole salad". He also brought out our nachos, which once we ate the few chips on the top layer the rest of the plate was a waste because of the soggy chips immersed in an unknown liquid. Needless to say we stopped eating both 'entrees'. He came back to check on us after a while and we were still hungry, so I asked for another basket of tortilla chips to eat with the salsa because as I told him, the nachos are inedible because of the soggy-ness. He was angry I told him that we did not like our order and told me that this is how they made them and we cannot get another free basket of tortillas because we had only ordered 2 entrees. Nevertheless I will never go back to this restaurant and I advise you to steer clear unless you want subpar Mexican food and to deal with a rude waitstaff.
One of my goto Mexican restaurants in the area. Average food but always consistent and fresh. Never had a complaint here the many times I ate here. The people are very friendly here always. Good selection of food on the menu. I order the special dinner like always. I have try other items on the menu but the special dinner is my goto because u get a simple of all the popular Mexican items. I recommend the special dinner to anyone that never been here and can't decide what to get. But be ready to eat if u getting the special dinner because it's a good size portion that is going to leave u real full and easy on your pockets.
